Welcome!
This is the homepage of the In vivo imaging core facility at the University of British Columbia. We are a CFI and CIHR imaging facility specializing in using multiphoton microscopy, intrinsic optical imaging and voltage sensitive dyes in vivo. The facility is unique in Canada, and to our knowledge North America, as we have a full imaging suite inside a Specific Pathogen Free (SPF) barrier facility in a Containment Level 2 (CL-2) zone. This is essential for research in neuroscience, immunology, bacterilogy, virology which depend on working with pathogens.
The facility is open to members of the UBC community, as well as outside users, on a user fee basis.
